We are now agents for FUNDING CIRCLE an online loans marketplace that currently has circa 3000 active investors and loans of £12,000,000 have already been issued.
To qualify for entry into an investor auction, a company must have been established for at least 2 years, must have filed two sets of accounts at Companies House and have a good credit rating with Experian. These unsecured loans are up to £100,000 repayable over 1 year or 3 years on a capital and interest basis.
We have recently completed a small loan of £15,000 and we achieved an interest rate of 8.30% on a reducing balance basis and the rate will not be affected by any change in base rates.
Funding Circle will underwrite and administer all loans and they charge a one off fee of 3% of the loan figure deducted from funds issued within 48 hours of the auction finish date. When we have submitted the company details and it has cleared the initial checks, we will then charge a nominal administration fee of £200 to collate the information, make the application and monitor the case to completion.
